    Grant Opportunity for Public Lakes

    Is your lake public? If so, this may be for you.

    The Department of Environmental Protection’s Water Quality Restoration Grants Program has issued a Request For Proposal (RFP) of up to $10 million dollars for qualified public lake management entities to address stormwater and nonpoint source pollution management and infrastructure needs on affected waterbodies that would directly maintain, enhance, improve or protect the variety of recreational and conservation activities currently available at these public lakes. The project proposal submission deadline is Saturday May 28, 2022.

    Lake Management Class: Nov 2-4, 2022

    Dr. Stephen J. Souza conducts an annual class on lake management. He is a frequent speaker at NJCOLA events and many members have taken this course over the years. Please consider signing up for this course if you are looking to learn more about the challenges of lake and watershed management.
